Description
The stamp mill is a sophisticated wooden machine that uses water to grind the laboriously mined ore. The Pochsteiger, our eleventh gnome from the ore gnome story, is very proud of his masterpiece. Together with the mountain carpenter and his friends he sawed and hammered many days and nights until everything ran smoothly. Well placed on a steep creek, it serves its purpose 24 hours a day. The rotating wheel drives the shaft, which lifts and drops the respective squared timber with the cams. In the box below is the ore, which is crushed by the blows.
